Portal 2

I finally played Portal 2. After years of people looking like at me like I'm weird, especially when I mention I haven't played Portal 2, I have finally played through it and now I know what I have been missing.

Or not... Portal 2 isn't that good.

The first Portal is a great little game game. I group it together with the likes of the original Super Mario Bros. - a short little game I can whenever, wherever, and have a great time.

But Portal 2... It's fine. It's just more annoying and has a lot more story I don't care about. I play Portal for the puzzles, not for the story. I guess that's fundamentally my problem with it.

Another minor nitpick I have with Portal 2 is how it brings up a full fat loading screen whenever it loads. Previous Source Engine games, like Half-Life 2 and Portal 1, just has a little loading box show up in the middle of the screen. A super duper minor complaint, but I just prefer how the older games did it.

Okay that's all I have to say. If you like the story and lore of Portal you'll probably love Portal 2. If you just like Portal for the puzzle aspect, the second game is very annoying to get through.
