The Lost and Damned

The Lost and Damned

I finally played through GTA IV: TLAD. Not sure why I haven't before. I suppose I'm not the biggest GTA IV fan, but still, I've played like all of the other GTA games (except TBOGT... and LCS... and VCS... okay, maybe I'm not the biggest GTA fan.)

I suppose I might've been put off by the beginning of the game, because there's a lot of slow driving when following your crew. But eventually those kind of missions stop and you're on your own, and it turns into quite the fun game.

I particularly enjoyed the races where you got a baseball bat and got to whack off other racers with it.

The final mission was also cool. Not gonna spoil it, but it was cool.

Story wise? Meh. I didn't particularly care for Johnny, or anyone else in The Lost, but it was fun to see them tying the game together with the regular GTA IV characters.

I played the PC version using the brand spanking new Fusion Fix 5. It's pretty damn awesome to play this game at 240 FPS I have to say. I would recommend it.

Let's see how long it takes before I have a TBOGT post up. Could be tomorrow, could be next week, could be in 10 years, could be never. Who knows!
